It is expected that in Tokyo city (Japan), Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung will have a high-level meeting with Mr. solutions to further promote the sending of Vietnamese workers to study and work in Japan. In which, improving working conditions for workers and discussing solutions to reduce illegal residence of workers is one of the top priorities.

Minister Dao Ngoc Dung will also visit and work with his counterpart, Japanese Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare Kato Katsunobu.

The delegation will meet a number of Japanese unions to jointly promote the sending of more laborers from Vietnam to Japan to work after the Covid-19 epidemic has been gradually controlled in both countries.

This is the first working trip abroad of Minister Dao Ngoc Dung after the Covid-19 pandemic. Japan is the preferred country, showing the concern of the head of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs with this labor market. This is also a step to prepare for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan in 2023.
