At the talks, Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung and Minister of Employment, Ministry of Economy and Employment of Finland Arto Olavi Satonen signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two ministries, thereby establish a labor migration partnership between the two participants within the limits of their respective jurisdictions and in accordance with applicable laws, procedures, and resources, respecting international norms and standards.

The Memorandum of Understanding is the basis for sustainable, mutually beneficial cooperation and is the foundation to promote bringing Vietnamese experts, skilled workers and seasonal workers to work in Finland in a transparent, sustainable, and sustainable manner. Be ethical and fight against exploitation and abuse, in accordance with the laws of both countries. This Memorandum of Cooperation is valid for 5 years from 2025 to 2030, signed in Hanoi, January 13, 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung highly appreciated the results of cooperation between Vietnam and Finland in recent times. From the end of 2023 until now, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has approved the registration of 3 Vietnamese service enterprises with contracts to supply 134 workers (including 65 women) to work in Vietnam. Finland. To date, there have been 55 workers working in Finland, with stable income from 1,500 to 2,000 EUR/month, good working conditions and social benefits.
